My Photo: 2017 Look Back and Past Years

Wow! Where did the year go? It seems like yesterday I was getting ready for 2017. Now, it’s time to say Goodbye to 2017  and  look back to some photo shots I took in 2017.

Oh yes, I  did not take as many photo shots as I wanted to a lot happen, which still bother me and my writing, But I will not let anything  slow me down.  Any way, I  am on a late start with my photo count down of 2017

Remembering January 2017

Now,  with this photo I tried something different by added a frame, which came out okay. But that’s only my opinion.

I think I will always be amazed by how my photo shots turns out.

As January left February came with no photos. Oh yes,  I had problems with my camera and the charge again. I was not a happy camper.  But I did find three of my favorite photos from 2016. 😊

Instead of the sunset I took a photo shot of this little one.

An old wise one was seen..

Last but mot least a photo shot I used for a work in progress story setting.

My setting idea for my Prologue, came from this photo shot.

Have a great week!  🙂

My Writing: Memories of You

A returned visit from a poem I had to rewrite. After reading over again I can now say I am finished with this poem. But never know with me. 🙂

Memories of You
If only I knew
I would have not waited for you

As months flew on by
I tried not cry,
from his lies.

I realize you are not worth a dime
nor my precious time.
With a strong heart,
I take flight
And let your memory fade
into the night.

My Photo: Day 6 of 7

Now, this photo shot is from my mini vacation to Jefferson Island , Louisiana. The name is The Joseph Jefferson Mansion and there is tours to view the home but I did not get a chance to go on the tour.
Any, I wanted to see how my photo shot looked in black and white. I have to say I like the result. 🙂

I wish could have taken a tour but we were short on time.

I had to zoom in on this photo shot, which I have to admit came out good.

My Writing: A Short Cajun Mystery

It’s a work in progress and my shortest post. I might keep  the way it is or do a rewrite. Never know with me.

A Cajun Mystery
He wanders on the shoreline, with sorrow in his heart.
For hundreds of years, he waited for his freedom. But none saw the truth to his curse.
His answer comes in a young lady, who holds the key to solving his family mystery.

My Photo: Rice Harvest Time

Okay, I took these photo shots a few weeks back from my Mom’s backyard. Watching the combine cut rice in the fields brings back memories of my Dad  in the rice fields.

Anyway,  I can say these photo shots came out nice. But that’s only my opinion.
