My Every Day Life: I Have Returned

I am have returned. Oh, how I missed reading blog posts. But, with no internet it was hard. I did not stop writing. I have new blog posts, that may surprise many and shock some. I am not one to write about my private life. But things changed, and I am unsure on how long the internet will be back.

Anyway, a lot has happened, since May. But I will not go into details. I am just happy to be writing this post.
One thing I can say for the past two in half years I have been struggling with my eyes and being stubborn to visit an Eye doctor.

Yes, I was scared of what the doctor might have found. But not anymore all is well with my eyes.

I have not been smiling lately. Try to use a webcam to take a photo shot is difficult.

Until next time.

Have a wonderful weekend.🙂

Always give a hug and smile to those who means everything to you

My Photo: Sept. and Oct.

These two months were not the best for me  but  I did find a few of my photo shots taken from past September.

I think this photo shot came out okay.

My first photo shot capturing the reflection of the sun in the water.  Sept. 2016

I did not expect the sunset to look like this.

Sept 2015  sunset was one beautiful summer evening.

As September walked away, October brought back old memories from years gone by.

I wish could have taken a tour of the inside but we were short on time.

My seven-day photo challenge  helped me get back  into writing and photography. Now, this photo shot was in color but I wanted to see how  the photo would look in  black and white, which in my opinion came out okay.

Have a great weekend 😊

My Writing: Memories of You

A returned visit from a poem I had to rewrite. After reading over again I can now say I am finished with this poem. But never know with me. 🙂

Memories of You
If only I knew
I would have not waited for you

As months flew on by
I tried not cry,
from his lies.

I realize you are not worth a dime
nor my precious time.
With a strong heart,
I take flight
And let your memory fade
into the night.

Have a great week! 😊

My Photo: Day 7 of 7 The Oak Trees

Last but not least my seven-day photo  challenge. Now, this is a photo shot   of the entrance to Rip Van Winkle Gardens. in  Jefferson Island, Louisiana. I will say it came out okay.

My Dad always spoke of these Oak trees on how they were planted by hand bu him and his family members. I am glad I finally was able to visit this place.

Have a great weekend! 🙂

My Every Day Life: A Short Break

Okay, this is my shortest post.  I am will not go into details. I will say two of my family members passed last month. Two days apart from each other. One was my Dad’s nephew, and the other my Mom’s brother. (My uncle) I took their passing hard and had to take a break from writing.
I am getting back to my writing and photography, which I missed a lot.

roses, gardening, memories

I took time off to think and remember those who are gone.

Here’s a photo shot  I took a few week ago.

Hope everyone have a great week.  🙂

My Photo: A Visit From August and September

Now, August brought a lot of rain, a flood to the surrounding area. The Highway in front of my Mom’s home.

After a week of heavy rain, this was Monday morning.

The water slowly went over the road in the early morning hours. That’s all I will say about The August’s flood.  As August slipped away September brought in beautiful sunset

When I see this photo shot I think of a fiery sky.

I have to admit I took a few photo shots in August, but September had many photos in my photo album.  I chose these three photo shots  for September 2016.

Have a wonderful weekend.  🙂

My Photo: June and July Came Visiting

June is one month I will not forget. These lovely photo shots will remind me of the long hot summer days.

After a rain shower passed over my home.

Oh yes, I had to admit these photos were nice ones. Now, July had a few surprises. This Killdeer bird sat on her nest for what seemed to be a long time.

The next afternoon I venture towards the nest again for more photo shots. Image my surprise when I saw the Killdeer running towards me. It was not until I realized the other grown Killdeer was also chirping away.  I had to look around for before I spotted this little one.

I watched this little one, while Mother Kildeere was chirping away.

Okay, I have to admit I was not expecting a photo shot of the  little Killdeer bird, nor a Dragonfly on a branch.

Have a great week.  🙂
