My Writing: Saying Farewell

I thought I would post another poem I have written in the past week. But right now I want to post one that I have posted a few times before. I think it would sum up how I am feeling right now.
Ever had one of those days when everything is going wrong? Well, my week is going bad. Too many distant cousins have left.( They followed each other, they all passed away in the last week. Some I knew some I don’t know.) My cousin was 81 years old, he passed away Monday. (A family member posted his obit. on Facebook. )

He was one of my Dad’s good cousin who use to visit us on his motorcycle he would stay hours just talking with my Dad on the porch. It was an honor to know him.

When I wrote this poem I never expected to use it as a way of asking Farewell. Here is something I don't usually put :(

  1. I’m sorry for your loss as well. In the public spotlight we’ve lost a lot of artists since this new year started and this poem applies well to them. Many of them we knew through their public personae. We may have even envied their lives, but then you find how some of them suffered in silence (Alan Rickman, Glen Frey, David Bowie). They had horrible diseases, yet kept them hidden from their fans. We knew them, yet we did not.
